[edit] VIII. How to Uninstall UGP 

1. Remove $HOME/.globus directory
2. Clean up the $HOME/.bash_profile file
3. Remove /var/lib/mysql and restart mysql (as root)
4. Remove $GLOBUS_LOCATION $CATALINA_HOME $JAVA_HOME
5. Remove $HOME/JDK-ANT
6. Remove /etc/grid-security (as root)
7. Remove grid-ftp in /etc/xinetd.d (as root)
